Habitat For Humanity at 14 Eagles Court, Cartersville, Georgia.

Staff helped themselves to my donations.

We’ve been here twice to donate goods from our home remodeling efforts. On both occasions, the staff working the receiving area appeared to help themselves and took stuff directly to their cars after unloading our van and trailer. Today was the worst, as one ‘helper’ was asking lots of questions about sizes and gender of the clothing donations, then picked through the bags to claim the items he wanted.

I’m sure Habitat does great work, and that people who shop here get items they need at bargain prices. But I’m not coming back after these two experiences. Those fulfilling their legally-ordered community service make this a horrible experience. My future donations will go to other charities.
